Welcome! Thank you for taking the first step in becoming an Oregon Friendly Driver.
The Oregon Friendly Driver course is designed to help drivers better understand the rights and responsibilities of all people using our streets. Laws and infrastructure designed for people walking and people riding bikes can confuse drivers. That’s where we step in!
We hope to clarify why these laws exist and how this infrastructure should be used so that you can be a safer, more friendly driver.
The course takes approximately 60 minutes to complete. Please follow the directions below. Once you complete the course with a minimum grade of 70% you’ll receive an Oregon Friendly Driver Certificate, which you can proudly display!
Instructions:
- Click the “Start Course” button to begin.
- Complete each lesson that follows. You cannot continue to another section until you have viewed all the content and completed all the knowledge checks*.
* NOTE: If you completed all the knowledge checks and the continue button at the bottom is not green there could be content you have not viewed, such as a flash card that still needs to be turned over. - Take the Final Exam to complete the course. A score of 70% or higher is required to receive your Oregon Friendly Driver Certification.
